Then we went back to James Island County Park in Charleston. A great place to camp and see the city. Walked around Charleston, checking out all of the old houses (including the Drayton Hall Plantation - untouched for a 100 years; no electric nor running water--just like the good old days) museums, and gardens. And of course had to have some great eating too (The Husk--GOOD!).
Follow the travels of Morey & Ruthie in their Winnebago SUNSTAR, Blowin-in-the-Wind {and other side trips}.
This Fall we're heading back out west. COVID will be in our thoughts as we plan for adventures while we stay safe! Our plans are to head first to Colorado, then zip over to Utah. Lots of hiking and biking are planned along our route.

A few days seeing our NC kids, then Charleston, and now Florida
Just crossed the border into Florida and camping at Fort Clinch State Park on Amelia Island. Temps went up to the low 80s -- love that Florida weather in the Winter! Have a great camp site and waiting for our friends Stu and Ronnie to join us tomorrow from the North Country (as in Michigan).
On the way we first took our RV out of storage and spent a few days with Michael, Jess and baby Jordan. What a cutie. Jordan got a perfect 10 on his 4 month checkup, so now its time to bring on the rice cereal!
