Some reflective thoughts from Morey
As I look at our Winnebago parked out front, I think back to Hansen, the then CEO of Winnebago, speaking to our MBA class of 74. The economy was in a shambles, gas prices were rocketed skyward (a little license from my aerospace days), and us MBAs had all kind of plans to get Winnebago out of the RV business and into some new venture. Mr. Hansen, at the end of all of our presentations of our recommendations, stated very clearly, "We are in the Recreational Vehicle business, and that's where we plan to stay." Had I only known (and maybe I did!), that 35 years later, we would purchase one and travel this great country.

For me, it was putting alot of thought into which cookbooks to take. There is enough room left over after we packed (remember, we are used to paniers carrying our wardrobe for 2 weeks of endless possibilities), for a library of cookbooks. But i decided to pick 3. Weight Watchers, Comfort Food, and a Mediterranean Cookbook from Greece...well, it will be SORT of like Greece...there will be water and rocks. And fish and produce. I'm very excited!
