This Fall we're heading back out west. COVID will be in our thoughts as we plan for adventures while we stay safe! Our plans are to head first to Colorado, then zip over to Utah. Lots of hiking and biking are planned along our route.

A few days seeing our NC kids, then Charleston, and now Florida

Just crossed the border into Florida and camping at Fort Clinch State Park on Amelia Island.  Temps went up to the low 80s -- love that Florida weather in the Winter!  Have a great camp site and waiting for our friends Stu and Ronnie to join us tomorrow from the North Country (as in Michigan).

On the way we first took our RV out of storage and spent a few days with Michael, Jess and baby Jordan.  What a cutie.  Jordan got a perfect 10 on his 4 month checkup, so now its time to bring on the rice cereal!

Then we went back to James Island County Park in Charleston.  A great place to camp and see the city.  Walked around Charleston, checking out all of the old houses (including the Drayton Hall Plantation - untouched for a 100 years; no electric nor running water--just like the good old days) museums, and gardens.  And of course had to have some great eating too (The Husk--GOOD!).

5 Incredible weeks in Australia and New Zealand......while our RV was sleeping in North Carolina

Just got back from 5 weeks touring Australia & New Zealand (South Island).  An incredible journey starting with a week with our good friends Ron and Judi in Sydney.  Stayed at their Cronulla Beach apartment and traveled to different parts of Sydney.  Highlights were seeing the Magic Flute at the Sydney Opera House and being with our good friends.

Then we flew up to Cairnes.  Took a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef and also walked the Daintree Rain Forest -- So tropical....but don't have an encounter with the jellies!

Finally, flew to Christchurch and drove all over South Island in our Nissan Sunny.  Beautiful tropical Abel Tasman National Park, the west coast of NZ with the pancake rocks, the glaciers, and our 5 days hiking the Milford Track -- our trip's highlight!  What a great country.
