ON THE ROAD !!!!

Packed up BIW, closed up our home on the Shore.....and on our way....

Now setting out for the mountains (Rockies); but first we will be enjoying the drive through the corn fields and mid America.

First overnight, we stayed at an Army Corp of Engineers site (our favorite!) at Riffle Run, West Virginia.  A nice campground set by a ACE dam.  Word has it, that either the name was misspelled or the park was named after John Riffle, a local mountaineer.  Either way; a great place to spend the night; only a few miles off our interstate travels.

Tonight, we decided to go first class, so after almost 500 miles of driving, we pulled into Harmonie State Park, Indiana.  A huge state park with great facilities including biking trails, cabins, and even a pool.  We pulled out our bikes and cycled to the Wabash River .......  Morey thought he was either Lewis or Clark, but then realized he had the wrong river.

Speaking of L&C, tomorrow starts our trek along the Missouri River...............



               Almost forgot.............we picked off another state today, Kentucky.....
